INVI Strengthens Its Role as a Commercial EV Solutions Provider through the Launch of Higer Product & Customer Gathering

PT Energi Makmur Buana (INVI), an integrated commercial electric vehicle solutions provider and part of the Indika Energy Group, launched the Higer EV Bus 7.5 Meter High Deck while simultaneously hosting the INVI Customer Gathering. The event marked part of INVI’s efforts to strengthen its electric bus portfolio in addressing the increasingly diverse operational needs of urban mobility.

As the exclusive distributor of Higer in Indonesia, INVI brings a range of commercially ready electric buses supported by Higer as a globally experienced bus OEM, including the launch of the Higer EV Bus 7.5 Meter High Deck to address operational requirements across various use cases.

The launch of the Higer EV Bus 7.5 Meter High Deck marks the expansion of INVI’s product line in the medium bus segment, complementing its existing EV bus portfolio for urban transportation, shuttle services, and other commercial applications. The product is designed to deliver operational efficiency and flexibility, supported by a battery and motor warranty of up to 10 years, as part of INVI’s commitment to long-term reliability.

In line with this initiative, INVI also organized a Customer Gathering as a platform for strategic engagement and discussion among stakeholders across the ecosystem, including government representatives and transportation operators, customers, industry partners, as well as media. The forum aims to align perspectives regarding market readiness, operational expectations, and long-term requirements in the adoption of commercial electric vehicles.

INVI also emphasizes a comprehensive after-sales approach through its Fleet Maintenance Contract (FMC) scheme tailored to customer needs, supported by certified technicians and regular vehicle health checks conducted together with the OEM. This approach aims to ensure vehicle reliability, optimize operational costs, and sustain fleet performance over the long term.

In addition, INVI supports the enhancement of local content requirements (TKDN) by establishing PT IMAI (INVI Manufaktur Andalan Indonesia) as part of its business development roadmap through gradual assembly activities, in line with government policy direction and the company’s long-term investment commitment in Indonesia.

“INVI is committed to ensuring that the transition to electric vehicles is not only sustainable, but also operationally and commercially feasible for our customers. We focus on building long-term partnerships centered on reliability, sustainability, and ecosystem readiness,” said Mr. Alif Sasetyo, President Director of INVI.

Through this initiative, INVI hopes to continue fostering open dialogue, market education, and alignment across industry stakeholders in order to accelerate the development of the commercial electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia.
